Monterosa Bike is the evolution of what was formerly known as Monterosa Prestige, an annual competitive mountain bike race held in the stunning Ayas Valley.
In 2026, the event will take place on Septembre 6, 2026, with the start scheduled for 10:00 a.m. in Brusson (Aosta Valley, Italy).

Monterosa Bike is a competitive and official MTB granfondo event, designed for experienced riders looking to test themselves on a demanding alpine course.
The route winds through breathtaking landscapes, offering spectacular views of the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa. Riders will face challenging climbs and technical descents along exciting single tracks, fully immersed in the unspoilt natural beauty of the valley.
The event is open to athletes holding a valid FCI licence, licences issued by organisations recognised by the Italian National Sports
Federation, riders affiliated with foreign national cycling federations, as well as amateur cyclists aged 19 or over on race day.
Non-licensed riders may participate by obtaining a one-day FCI competitive licence, subject to the presentation of a valid medical certificate
for competitive sports.

Monterosa Prestige is open to:
✔ FCI or Enti della Consulta members
✔ Foreign National Cycling Federation members
✔ Cyclists aged 19 and over (as of race day)
✔ Non-members, who can participate by requesting an FCI daily racing license, subject to presenting a medical certificate for competitive sports.
